i am getting such a kick our of these vintage dictionary drops! they are made from old dictionaries (i am always hunting!!). i love the yellowed pages, made transparent, yet still readable by the resin as it soaks in and preserves. the words remind, declare, share a thought or feeling.
plunge
–verb (used without object)
to cast oneself, or fall as if cast, into water, a hole, etc.
to rush or dash with headlong haste
to throw oneself impetuously or abruptly into some condition, situation, matter, etc
act of plunging.
a leap or dive, as into water.
a headlong or impetuous rush or dash: a plunge into danger.
what word is your word today? somedays mine is plunge, reminding me to not hold back, but to just go for it!! and sometimes i wear mend. a peaceful statement that i am consciously mending - allowing myself the freedom to let my body and soul heal and be peaceful.
and always - create!!
lynn! i am so loving your new (to me!) photos and pieces. the red book really adds a vintage-so-retro-it's-modern feel to your pieces! kudos! :) jan
